Ryan Gosling Eats Cereal in Honor of ‘Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal’ Meme Creator Ryan McHenry

Back in 2013 we first posted about “Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal,” Scottish artist Ryan McHenry‘s whimsical Vine meme depicting Gosling rejecting spoonfuls of cereal. McHenry’s curious videos spread around the Internet, eventually drawing comment from Gosling himself. Shortly after the meme broke out in 2013, McHenry was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He battled the cancer, often documenting his experience on Vine, before passing away on May 3, 2015. Earlier today Ryan Gosling posted a Vine video of himself–at last–eating cereal.
