‘Refuge’, A Tense Science Fiction Short Film Lit Exclusively by Moonlight and Shot at 51,200 ISO

Refuge” is a tense science fiction short film by director Sam Shapson that was lit exclusively by moonlight, a feat made possible by shooting at an incredibly sensitive 51,200 ISO with a Sony A7 camera. The story is set on the exoplanet Gliese 667 Cc, and the unique lighting technique helps give the film the look of being on a distant alien world.
