reBOOT Detroit is an upcoming technology conference designed to help bring together the growing startup community in Detroit, Michigan. The conference will feature several influential speakers like Michael Arrington, Robert Scoble, Dave McClure, Daniel Brusilovsky and Catherine Bracy. reBOOT Detroit is scheduled to run May 16 to 19, 2015, and will feature a hackathon as part of the conference. Tech startups can play a pivotal role in rebuilding, but infrastructure is needed. We are seeing a dramatic increase in the number of Detroit based startups looking for venture capital, and there are more venture funds looking to invest there (as well as a few Detroit-based funds looking to make most of their investments in the area).
