Project Fi, A New Wireless Service by Google That Makes Use of the Strongest Connection Available

Project Fi is a new wireless service by Google that is focused on offering the highest-quality connections across different networks and devices as simply as possible for consumers. Whether the best connection is through a Wi-Fi hotspot or 4G LTE network, Project Fi uses new technology to switch between available connections as the user moves through their day.

At launch, the service is only available for Google’s Nexus 6 phone with a simple payment structure of $20 per month for voice, text, Wi-Fi tethering, and international coverage. For data, users will pay $10 per GB used on a cellular network with the value of any unused data credited back to them.

Potential users interested in signing up for Project Fi can request an invitation from Google to join the Project Fi Early Access Program.
