Portraits of a Post-Apocalyptic Zombie-Slaying Family

Ivan Owen of Etsy chainmail and armor shop, Chain Crafts, used hubcaps, a railroad crossing sign, soda tabs, stainless steel, sports equipment, jump rings and aluminum duct parts to create all the props and costumes for his family’s unique photo shoot. At his wife’s birthday request, they shot their family portraits as a gritty zombie-slaying, post-apocalyptic one. More images from the shoot are available for viewing from the photographer’s website.

My wife only asked for one thing for her birthday this year. She wanted to do a Post-Apocalypse/Zombie Slaying family photo shoot! To that end, I created armor for all of us.

You know what they say…. The family that slays together, stays together.
