PopUP Forest: Times Square, An Initiative to Bring a Temporary Forest to New York City

PopUP Forest: Times Square is an intriguing project that aims to bring a temporary forest to Time Square in New York City. The project calls for a three-week installation of a large-scale natural habitat, complete with trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. Nature sounds will be piped in live from nearby forests. PopUP Forest: Times Square is a project by Marielle Anzelone and her organization NYC Wildflower Week. Anzelone is raising funds for the project on Kickstarter.
