Politeness is very much rewarded at the La Petit Syrah cafe in Nice, France. If you’re well-mannered, then a cup of coffee is 1,40€, if you fail to be polite then you will pay close to seven times more. One can’t help but be reminded of that old adage about catching more flies with honey than vinegar. In this case, however, it’s getting a reasonably priced cup of coffee just by being polite.
