Pioneering San Francisco Psychedelic Light Show Artist Bill Ham is Releasing a Light Painting DVD

Veteran San Francisco light artist Bill Ham, who gained notoriety in the 1960s for his psychedelic “San Francisco rock dance light shows,” is committing one of his light painting shows to DVD for the first time. During the heyday of Haight Ashbury and the hippie movement, Ham’s light shows, created live on overhead projectors, accompanied performances by The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and other 60s rock groups. Ham is raising funds for the project on Kickstarter.
