Ping-Pong Go Round, A Completely Round Table Tennis Court Made Up of 15 Standard Tables

Ping Pong

The Ping-Pong Go Round is a perfectly round table tennis court designed in 1998 by Singapore-based artist Lee Wen that allows one person to play against another by standing in the hollowed out doughnut-hole center. The Go-Round, which is comprised of 15 standard plywood tables, is more than just a novelty, according to Wen.

By making it a doughnut round shape with no borders towards the left and right side, a different perception of the limitations of the preceding game gives new possibilities of a broader dialogue.
