Piggyback Driver, A Racing Helmet With Handlebars That Let Kids to Drive Their Parents

Piggyback Driver

PARTY, a creative lab in New York City, has made the Piggyback Driver, a racing helmet that comes equipped with handlebars that let kids to drive their parents while going for a ride. PARTY is currently looking for partners and collaborators that can help them turn their working Piggyback Driver prototype into a production model.

Turn the handlebars to steer and LED turn signals will flash. Vibrations inside the helmet tell your parents which way to go. Push the turbo button for a burst of light and sound, or honk the horn to warn people to get out of the way. Piggyback Driver can detect your steps! The faster you go, the faster the LED lights on the side will pulse.
