Pictoplasma NYC, a festival of contemporary character design and art, returns to New York City for the third time for an immersive long weekend of conferences, exhibitions and guest speakers. The speaker lineup include Tim Biskup, Joshua Ben Longo, Joel Trussell, Raymond Lemstra and many more.
Pictoplasma NYC happens November 4-5, 2011 at New York’s Tishman Auditorium of Parsons The New School for Design. Exhibitions are open November 3-6, 2011.
Additionally, for the first time in the US, we are putting together a so called “Character Walk”: a tour through partnering galleries and art spaces presenting selected exhibitions, installations and art-happenings of some of the most distinctive contemporary artists working with the aesthetics of reduced figuration and Character design.
