Last night I went to the Jaiku Supernova Reception, hosted by Leo Laporte and TWiT.tv at Ritual Coffee Roasters in San Francisco. I was mostly hanging out and being social, but I did manage to shoot a few photos.
It was great to finally meet the legendary Leo Laporte after all of these years, as well as Jaiku co-founder Jyri Engeström. Party planner extraordinaire Tara Anderson once again did an amazing job putting the event together. She was even able to make it snow on Valencia Street outside of Ritual Coffee Roasters in honor of our Finnish visitors (here’s Veronica Belmont experiencing the artificial flurry). Tara also introduced me to Gary Vaynerchuk, director of operations for Wine Library, an online store and resource for wine that recently acquired the wonderful wine review website Cork’d.
