At the 2013 Alameda County Fair, not only did I see a lot of deep fried food on a stick but I also spotted an unusual toasted panini sandwich made with peanut butter, jelly, banana, honey, bacon, and (my weakness) Marshmallow Fluff. It’s a new creation by the Cardinali family who last year debuted Deep-Fried Watermelon on a Stick and Deep-Fried Pineapple Upside Down Cake. They use real Fluff in the sandwich so naturally I had to try it. I had expected to not like it but it was actually pretty good. My only wish is that they would spread on more Fluff, as it only had a very small dollop.
