PBS Station Promotes Spot-On Fake Reality Shows to Illustrate Sad State of TV

To demonstrate the sad state of television programming, PBS station WNET is promoting a series of fake reality shows that are absurd and idiotic but sadly, would not look out of place on TV. As part of the campaign the station produced thoroughly convincing trailers for three of them: Long Island Landscapers, Clam Kings, and Meet the Tanners. The campaign urges viewers who have “had enough of bad television” to support WNET.

The fact that you thought this was a real show says a lot about the state of TV. Support quality programming.
