Parody of Lorde’s ‘Royals’ Laments the Trials of Adulthood

Comedic actor and musician Molly Dworsky laments her lost youth and the trials of adulthood in this hilarious parody of “Royals” by New Zealand pop artist Lorde. Lorde, aka Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Connor, is astoundingly young—she had just turned 16 when ‘Royals’ was released in 2012.

Cuz every song’s, like, written by a kid I probably used to babysit
Killing it by puberty while I can barely stay fit
So unfair that Lorde’s a millionaire at seventeen
