On Broadway is a fascinating interactive installation that features images and complex data sets gathered along the 13 miles that Broadway stretches across Manhattan in New York City. The installation features 13 layers of data, including Google Street View images, Instagram photos, and numeric sets like household income designed to give a broad semblance of the current state across New York City’s most iconic street.
The result is a new type of city view, created from the activities of hundreds of thousands of people.
In addition to the website, the exhibit is on display at the New York Public Library as part of the Public Eye photography show through January 2016.
