Oliver Gal Artist Co. Turns Patent Application Blueprints For Everyday Objects Into Framable Wall Art

olivergal_baseball

Florida-based art collective Oliver Gal Artist Co. has mined more than 100 years of patent application blueprints to create a series of hangable wall prints. The list includes household objects like Edison’s 1880s light bulb patents, iconic toys like the Slinky, modern technology like the iPad and more arcane fare like an 1889 “Flying Machine.” For a more contemporary take, the collective also has a Breaking Bad line of blueprints, with models of the RV, gas mask and more taken from the popular AMC series. You can buy the prints on Huckberry.
