It’s time to play the music. It’s time to light the lights. ABC has officially ordered a new prime time comedy series starring The Muppets. The pilot for the new series, announced earlier this year, was written by The Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady and Anger Management executive producer Bob Kushell, and the show will take an unprecedented look at the personal lives of the Muppet characters with a contemporary style similar to The Office.
To celebrate the news and help raise the curtain, here is the opening theme song from the original Muppet Show.
