In partnership with British Airways, Designworks has created a new electronic bag tag designed to save both paper and valuable time at the airport. Customers simply hold their smartphone over the electronic bag tag, which presumably uses NFC to update the tag with a unique barcode and destination information. The new electronic tag system will see a trial run next month on British Airways.
