Natural History Redux, A Digitally Distorted Film That Features Psychedelic Footage of Marine Life

“Natural History Redux” is a psychedelic experimental film that features digitally distorted footage of coral and other tropical marine life. The film was created by marine biologist Colin Foord and musician Jared McKay of Miami art-science studio Coral Morphologic. The footage was remixed from the series “Natural History,” a collection of short nature videos that Foord and McKay shot in their aquaculture lab. “Natural History Redux” is available for purchase on Vimeo. The Creators Project has more on Coral Morphologic and their film project.
