NASA Releases Full-Length Video of the April 4, 2015 Full Lunar Eclipse, The Shortest of the Century

NASA has posted a full-length video of the April 4, 2015 lunar eclipse, which was the shortest full lunar eclipse of this century. The video taken from the Griffith Observatory lasts just over 45 minutes and shows each stage of the eclipse, but the Moon is only completely blocked by the Earth’s shadow for about five minutes. As the shadow begins to move away, the Moon takes on a brilliant shade of red.
