Musician Steve Onotera Offers Helpful Tips for Improving One’s Sense of Rhythm

In the latest episode of his instructional Sensei Series, Canadian guitarist and songwriter Steve Onotera a.k.a. samuraiguitarist offers really helpful pointers in improving one’s sense of rhythm through simple measures such as using a metronome, recording, playing with other musicians and moving with the music, even just a little bit.

It’s going to be easier to play in time if you feel the music throughout your body. You want to be moving something to the beat. Now, I’m not saying you have to do Pete Townshend windmills, but at the very least you want to be tapping your foot.
