Music Video Race, a music and film festival that challenges teams of musicians and filmmakers to create music videos in one weekend, launches July 11 to 13 in San Francisco. During the weekendlong event, 20 bands will be paired with 20 filmmaking teams to create a total of 20 music videos. The festival will culminate in a premiere party on July 20 at The Independent in San Francisco. Bands and filmmakers are encouraged to apply for a place in the festival. This year Music Video Race will also be coming to Austin, September 5 to 7, and Los Angeles, November 7 to 9.
