Skilled helicopter pilot and aerial film operator Alan Purwin passed away on September 11, 2015 as a passenger in a plane that crashed in Colombia, South America. Purwin was in the middle of working on the upcoming Tom Cruise thriller film, Mena, when the tragic accident occurred. Michael Bay recently created a touching video montage, which honors Alan’s artistry and features footage that he captured over the years.
