Memories of Paintings, A Lush Composition of Moving Color That Evokes a Sense of Melancholy

In a beautifully abstract video “Memories of Paintings“, director Thomas Blanchard used a combination of paint, oil, milk and liquid soap to create a lush composition of moving color and texture, as if the colors of a painting were being washed away and evoking a quiet sense of melancholy.
