Massive Hurricane on the Surface of Saturn Looks Like a Beautiful Rose

Rose

NASA’s Cassini spacecraft captured this amazing image of a massive hurricane on the surface of Saturn on November 27th, 2012. The hurricane’s immense eye measures 1,250 miles across (about the distance from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California) and has cloud speeds of up to 330 miles per hour. The false-color image indicates high clouds with a green hue and low clouds with red, giving the hurricane a beautiful, rose-like appearance.
