Loving Great Dane Who Helped His Human Walk Unassisted Is Treated to a Day of His Favorite Things

An amazingly loving and loyal Great Dane named George was treated to a wonderful “BarkPost Best Day” of his favorite things in celebration of his service to an 11 year old girl who was born with Morquio Syndrome, a rare, debilitating disease that caused her to be unable to walk unassisted.

As a trusted service animal trained through the Service Dog Project, George came into Bella’s life and helped her not only to walk unassisted, but to run, ski and do many of the things that 11 year old girls do.

Bella suffers from a rare disorder known as Morquio Syndrome and thought she’d spend her life on crutches or in a wheelchair. All of that changed when she found George thanks to the non-profit Service Dog Project!
