Living Light, Time-Lapse of Bioluminescent Bacteria Growing & Glowing

“Living Light” is a nifty time-lapse of bioluminescent bacteria growing (and glowing) in a Petri dish over four days. It was created by artist Rebecca Klee and microbiologist Siouxsie Wiles for the Art in the Dark light festival which took place earlier this month in Auckland, New Zealand. The art/science duo also displayed a bioluminescent squid sculpture at the festival:
