At the beginning of March 2015, the LEGOLAND Calfiornia theme park unveiled a giant model of a Star Wars Death Star that was made up of approximately 500,000 LEGO bricks for the STAR WARS Miniland exhibit. The LEGO model is eight feet wide by 13 feet tall, weighs 1,900 pounds, sports a green glowing super-laser, and features famous scenes from the Star Wars films.
Disney News from Stitch Kingdom released a video in February showing the build process of the Star Wars space station.
