Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele embark on a dangerous mission to rescue a kitten named Keanu in their first feature film Keanu. The comedy was directed by Peter Atencio and written by Peele and Alex Rubens. Both Atencio and Rubens worked with Peele and Key on their Comedy Central series Key & Peele.
Keanu appears to be an action comedy inspired by John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves. In that film Reeves’ character has to go on a revenge mission against a gang that killed his dog. Similarly, the trailer for Keanu shows Key and Peele taking on a gang to save their kitten.
Keanu will be released in theaters on April 29, 2016.
