Jimmy Kimmel and Science Bob Pflugfelder Shoot Lightning Guns and Explode Paint Cans on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, host Jimmy Kimmel and guest Science Bob Pflugfelder (see previously) blew up paint cans to demonstrate how car engines work, spun on what looks like a seesaw while trying to shoot baskets against the Coriolis effect, and finally fired at balloons filled with hydrogen using 80,000 volt Tesla coil guns.

Pflugfelder is the author of the Nick and Tesla series of science-themed books for kids published by Quirk Books. The latest title in the series is Nick and Tesla’s Super-Cyborg Gadget Glove.
