Jerry Seinfeld Talks About Garbage in a Pragmatic Stand-Up Routine on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

“All things on Earth only exist in different stages of becoming garbage.”

On a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, comedian Jerry Seinfeld performed a pragmatic, but very funny stand-up routine about garbage and his need to be a “thrower-outer.”

I don’t like having things. I’m a thrower-outer, that’s my personality type, I’m a thrower-outer. If I have something, I really don’t want it. I wish there was a store where I could buy something, pivot and just throw it down the chute into an incinerator. Walk out, no bags. That’s my perfect shopping experience. Now my wife, of course, is the opposite. This is marriage, this is the beauty – the conflict is the beauty of marriage.

Later, Jerry sat down to talk with host Jimmy Fallon about his series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and about his worst experience on stage.
