A 1,014-pound rocket launched during a fireworks show in Saitama, Japan on October 11th, 2014 secured the title of “World’s Heaviest Firework” with Guinness World Records. In a video of the event, the sky goes dark during an extremely colorful show, as the announcer comes over the PA to talk up the rocket. A huge streak is followed by a colorful blast before the firework sparkles and twinkles away.
