Internet Archive damaged by fire

Early Wednesday morning the San Francisco scanning center for the Internet Archive was damaged in a fire. The scanning center is adjacent to the Archive’s headquarters, and while the main building was not affected, an estimated $600,000 of high end digitization equipment, and some of the materials awaiting digitization, have been lost. The Archive needs help rebuilding the center and replacing equipment, here’s how to donate to the Internet Archive.
