Barcelona-based Xavi Elson, a.k.a. “Xelson“, Identitat and Aparentia created an installation that allows viewers to experience popular leisure activities in Catalonia in the Oculus Rift. Viewers can experience skydiving or watch people build human towers in a Catalan tradition known as “castells.” To create the installation, Elson filmed the experiences using a special rig with six GoPro cameras and stitched the video together to create the 360-degree effect.
