At-Bristol host Ross Exton presents a few cheap methods for creating traditionally a traditionally pricey close-up macro lens at home, from simply reversing an existing lens to a hack using a laser pointer and a phone camera.

If you take apart the laser pointer, inside will be a tiny lens like this one. All you have to do is affix this lens to the front of the lens of the camera on your phone.
