A recent clip from the BBC Earth web series Earth Unplugged features some incredible slow-motion footage of a panther chameleon‘s tongue shooting out and capturing its prey. The footage was filmed at 1,500 frames per second, and it captures the weird and complicated motion of the animal’s tongue as it stretches approximately the full length of its body.
