Improv Everywhere Staged a Fake Olympic Torch Run in New York City and Pedestrians Helped Carry the Flame

For their latest mission, the Improv Everywhere team staged a fake Olympic torch run in New York City and got pedestrians to help them carry the flame. You can view more behind-the-scenes photos of the torch run on their website.

A performer posing as an injured athlete asked people on the street to help her by carrying the torch around the block. Once the New Yorkers rounded the corner, they were surprised by a huge mob of people cheering and a TV news crew.
