‘Impress Me’, A New Pop TV Television Show Based on Rainn Wilson’s Web Series ‘The Impression Guys’

Impress Me is a new Pop TV series by actor Rainn Wilson‘s production company Soul Pancake and is based off of creator Ben Shelton‘s web series “The Impression Guys“. Like the original series, Impress Me stars Jim Meskimen and Ross Marquand as talented impressionists who are trying to find work as serious actors. Guest stars include Angela Kinsey, Erika Christensen, Josh Groban (previously), Piotr Michael (previously) and “Weird Al” Yankovic (previously).

The critically acclaimed YouTube series Impress Me is coming to Pop, which will air the original digital episodes and debut seven brand-new installments. Created by writer-director Ben Shelton, this half-hour scripted comedy from Rainn Wilson’s SoulPancake productions centers on celebrity impressionists Ross (Ross Marquand) and Jim (Jim Meskimen), who are trying to wean themselves off impressions and transition into serious, dramatic actors. The result: total chaos.

Impress Me premieres March 18 at 10:30 PM on Pop TV. In anticipation of the premiere, Soul Pancake has released seven additional episodes of “The Impression Guys“, all of which are viewable on YouTube.
