Illustrating the Power of the Sun With 24 Cameras and Hydrogen Gas

“The Power of the Sun” by The GE Show is an artful demonstration of the sun’s power using 24 cameras and flammable, flammable hydrogen. It’s part of the GE Show’s module on solar technology–an earlier segment featured a solar-powered carousel that was shown at SXSW. The whole production is an expansive effort by creative agency The Barbarian Group to showcase GE’s technologies to the public. Earlier modules illustrated energy conversion and aircraft flight paths in inventive ways.

If The Barbarian Group sounds familiar, it may be because of some of their other recent online shenanigans: GroupMeh, and the Great Gatsby NES Game.
