I Dream of Wires is an upcoming documentary about the modular synthesizer, an early form of sound synthesizer that has recently experienced a resurgence amongst a dedicated cadre of musicians, inventors, and enthusiasts. The film is directed by Robert Fantinatto and will premiere in May 2013, while a special 4-hour director’s cut is now available for pre-order.
