Hub Powderworks, A Boston Company That Covers Bicycle Frames in a Highly Reflective Coating

Hub Powderworks Retroreflective Powder Coating for Bicycles

Back in 2013 we posted about “The Safest Bike on the Road,” a concept bicycle covered in a retroreflective powder coating that makes the bike glow intensely when struck by light. The concept was created by bike safety evangelist Josh Zisson, who at the time was working with Halo Coatings to develop the powder coating for the bike industry. The coating is now available to the public through Hub Powderworks, a Boston-based company that offers a reflective powder coating service to bicycle owners. The company can cover an entire frame in the coating, which appears gray in normal light.
