How to Build a Time Machine is a documentary by filmmaker Jay Cheel that explores the lives of Rob Niosi and Ronald Mallett, two men inspired by the book The Time Machine by H.G. Wells to build their own very different time machines.
Niosi was inspired by the book to build an incredibly detailed replica of the machine, but he has not finished this project despite it now being the eleventh year since he started. Mallett, on the other hand, was inspired to pursue physics and build an actual time machine out of a desire to see his father again. The documentary currently has no set release date.
