House of Cards Against Humanity, Netflix Partners With ‘Cards Against Humanity’ To Promote ‘House of Cards’

House of Cards Against Humanity

As a promotion for the upcoming season two premiere of House of Cards on February 14th, Netflix partnered with Cards Against Humanity — a party game for horrible people where innocent-sounding questions are prone to receive horrifyingly terrible answers — to produce a series of 25 “House of Cards Against Humanity” cards specifically featuring House of Cards references, such as a white answer card with “Ribs so good they transcend race and class” on it.

Though the supply of physical packs has already run dry, the website offers both print-and-play versions of the cards as well as a plain-text card list.

Last month, someone in the Netflix marketing department had an epiphany: House of Cards and Cards Against Humanity both contain the word “cards.” When we got a phone call from Netflix, we enthusiastically agreed that the two products indeed contain the word “cards.”
