The dramatic Hans Gruber death scene in Die Hard (1988) has been given a homemade remake in this new Cinefix episode of Homemade Movies. It was directed by Pasadena, California-based animator and musician Dustin McLean of DustFilms. Previously we wrote about Dustin and his homemade remakes of the clock tower scene in Back to the Future, The Matrix‘s bullet time scene and Alien‘s chestburster scene.
One of the best villain deaths of all time gets the Homemade Movies treatment! John McClane sends Hans Gruber to his 40-story demise in this classic scene from the original Die Hard. Recreated at home with action figures, cardboard buildings and a furniture dolly.
