Harrod Blank’s 1992 cult classic art car documentary “Wild Wheels” is now available on DVD, as a special re-mastered 2 disc set with extras. Harrod’s film is an excellent introduction to the wonderful and bizarre world of art cars and I highly recommend it. Here’s a QuickTime preview from the film featuring Gene Pool and his Grass Car.
Wild Wheels is filmmaker Harrod Blank’s comic and revealing exploration of Art Cars, personally customized automobiles which reflect the individualistic spirit of their drivers.
