Robin of Florida-based Etsy shop 32708fl sells hand-crocheted tampons she’s made. Each one is crafted using 100% cotton thread and then stuffed with a “circle of natural bamboo(90%)cotton(10%) interlock fabric” which she says is highly absorbent (“much more so than cotton”). Part of the product’s copy reads, “What a great way to start your efforts to “go green”. Think of the money you will save as well!”
