On September 18th, 2014, the people of Scotland will vote whether or not to declare their independence from England. Many people have been voicing their opinion on the matter including Groundskeeper Willie from The Simpsons. He not only wants a free and independent Scotland — he also wants to run it.
Scotland has been part of The United Kingdom since 1707. The push for Scottish independence is being led by the Scottish National Party, who won the 2011 Scottish Parliamentary election.
