Art director Dave Tomkins created the site Grandpa’s Photos after discovering a treasure trove of photos when his grandfather Stephen Clarke had to relocate to a nursing home. When Clarke had trouble recalling the locations where he shot the photographs, Tomkins put together the site to get strangers to identify the settings and send in their own photos of the locations.
This site has 100 of the best slides that were found in that cupboard. I have included some of the family slides, mainly as many of those are great. The hope is simply that people will appreciate them and share them making him, if only in my book, great at one more thing.
