Gorgeous Flowers Sculptures Created With Thousands of Blue and White Porcelain Shards

Shards Flower

Israeli artist Zemer Peled has created a beautiful line of sculptures made from thousands of cobalt and white porcelain shards that are formed and deliberately placed to make each piece appear to be as soft and approachable as the flowers they represent.

Zemer Peled’s work examines the beauty and brutality of the natural world. Her sculptural language is formed by her surrounding landscapes and nature, engaging with themes of nature and memories, identity and place. Her works are formed of thousand of ceramic shards constructed into large-scale/small-scale sculptures and installations.

Peled’s work was recently featured on the cover of Ceramics Monthly and her work is currently being shown at the Cynthia Corbett Gallery in London.
